Bath Time!

Although Luke has still not lost his cord (see prior post for details), Dr. Tolcher told us we could go ahead and give him a real bath rather than still just continue the sponge baths, we just needed to be careful not to submerge his belly and soak his cord. I was glad to finally get that little bottom soaking in some soapy water!

We did not buy a baby bath tub because my mom always bathed our foster babies in the kitchen sink and she convinced me it would just be one more thing to find a place to store. So I just lined the bottom of our bathroom sink with an old towel and he fit perfectly! As I mentioned in the one month post, Luke loves his baths and having his hair washed and I like getting rid of the milk-in-his-neck-chub smell, so it works well for both of us!

Cute, cute cute!!!! Luke has a beauuuutiful smile and looks so healthy! It is fun to see him in his daily activities and first accomplishments. Your joy radiates through.

Is Luke wearing green for St. Paddy's Day?

Grady's comment- If ya think getting up with him now is tiring-just wait til he's 16 and drives away in your car.

Hugs and love to you all-
Aunt Susan and Grady
